Products and Innovation
Innovation drives everything we do at Kruger. We focus on developing high-performing, sustainable solutions that meet our customers’ needs while reducing our environmental footprint. By continuously improving how we design and make our products or build new infrastructure, we aim to deliver better outcomes for both people and the planet.
Innovation highlight: In 2026, Kruger announced its entry into the nonwovens sector with the development of a new generation of plastic-free, biodegradable materials for wipe applications. Enabled by a hybrid technology, a Canadian first, this project aims to offer a lower-impact alternative in a market still largely dominated by plastic-based products.
Sustainable Containerboard and Packaging Solutions
Kruger Packaging’s high-performance packaging solutions are engineered to do more with less. Through advanced design and manufacturing expertise, our products reduce fibre and energy consumption. This translates into lower environmental impact, improved transportation efficiency, and reduced carbon footprint across the supply chain. This smart and efficient approach helps our customers achieve their sustainability goals.
Bonterra Tissue Products
With its Bonterra line of household tissue products, our Kruger Products division has pushed innovation to create more sustainable everyday products. Using FSC®-certified fibre and reimagined packaging to eliminate plastic, Bonterra was designed to lower environmental impact at every stage. This approach reflects our commitment to delivering high-performing products that support a more responsible and circular future.
