Governance and Accountability
Sustainability has long been part of Kruger’s governance approach, reflected in our ongoing efforts to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, improve environmental performance, strengthen health and safety practices, and integrate responsible business practices across our operations.
In 2026, Kruger further strengthened this approach by updating key governance frameworks to formally include sustainability alongside health, safety, and environmental responsibilities. This evolution reflects the growing role of sustainability in how we assess risks, monitor performance, and guide decision-making across the Company.
Material sustainability topics are increasingly integrated into leadership discussions, board reporting and cross-functional initiatives. By improving visibility, clarifying responsibilities, and aligning practices across the organization, we are reinforcing accountability and supporting more consistent sustainability management.
This governance approach helps ensure that sustainability is not treated solely as a reporting exercise, but as a shared responsibility embedded in how Kruger operates, plans and creates long-term value for its employees, customers, communities and the environment.
Ethics & Compliance
Integrity and responsible conduct guide how we operate at Kruger. Our Code of Ethics sets out the principles that govern our employees’ actions and business relationships, including expectations related to ethical conduct, anti-corruption, and compliance with applicable laws and regulations. The Code also outlines the mechanisms available to raise concerns in good faith and ensures that reported issues are reviewed appropriately. In addition, Kruger maintains practices to manage risks related to information security and the protection of its data and systems.
Reporting concerns
Concerns related to ethics or compliance can be reported confidentially through Kruger’s independent external ombudsman.

Responsible Procurement
Kruger’s Sustainable Procurement approach aims to reduce supply chain risks while promoting responsible sourcing practices across our purchasing activities. Through our Sustainable Procurement Policy, we integrate environmental, social and governance (ESG) considerations into procurement decisions and work with our suppliers to support responsible business practices. Internal risk analyses and collaboration with procurement teams help us better understand the ESG risks associated with different purchasing categories and guide our sourcing strategies.
Our approach focuses on several key priorities:
